Grading and Certification of Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-created diamonds, often called engineered or cultured diamonds, are crafted in tightly controlled labs. They recreate the natural conditions in the Earth's mantle where diamonds originate. These created diamonds share identical chemical, physical, and optical properties with mined diamonds – they're real diamonds. The sole distinction is their place of origin.

All our lab-grown diamonds undergo certification by renowned independent diamond grading laboratories, including the International Gemological Institution (IGI) and Gem Certification and Assurance Lab (GCAL). The certificates issued for our lab-grown diamonds are equivalent to those for mined diamonds, meticulously grading them on the 4C's - Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat. We take pride in our laboratory-grown diamonds, and each certified stone bears a 'LAB GROWN' laser inscription on the girdle to ensure complete transparency and authenticity.
Mined diamonds are primarily made of pure carbon. However, during their natural formation, some diamonds pick up impurities like nitrogen or boron. Diamonds with minimal or no impurities fall under the category of Type IIa diamonds. Less than 2% of mined diamonds belong to this Type, making them the purest and rarest. Famous examples of large Type IIa diamonds include the Krupp Diamond, Cullinan, Koh-i-noor, and Lesedi La Rona.
Lab-grown diamonds cost 20 to 30 percent less than their mined counterparts.
